ALAMO HEIGHTS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The present-day Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce began in December 1975 as the Alamo Heights Business and Professional Association. The members of a previous Chamber, which disbanded in 1971, continued to support the community and helped with the Golden Celebration of Alamo Heights in 1972.
From 1975 to 1990, the Chamber membership was limited to businesses within the city limits of Alamo Heights.
In 1991 membership opportunity was opened to any business or individual within Bexar County. Since that time, the Chamber has grown not only in size but also in community involvement. Today, the Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce is welcoming new members that are dedicated to building businesses and communities dedicated to building a quality of life.
